What we do with your details.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of the two enquiry forms - the one on the home page, or the fuller one on the contact page:

• Your name, and your business name if you give one
• A phone or WhatsApp number, an email address, or both - one is enough
• Anything you write in the message box
• Your answers to the three optional questions: what you are powering, where it is, and roughly what you pay for power each month

Nothing else about you is collected. There is no advertising pixel and no session recording, and we do not build a profile of you.

What we count

We keep a running tally of how many times the WhatsApp buttons, phone numbers and email address on this site get tapped, and how many people start filling in a form. It is how we know whether the site is doing its job.

These are counts, not records of people. Each one stores four things: which button, which page, the date and time, and nothing else. No name, no IP address, no device details, no identifier of any kind - which means we genuinely cannot tell whether ten taps came from ten people or from one person changing their mind, and we cannot connect a tap to you or to a later enquiry.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything - so there is no cookie banner to dismiss, because there is nothing to consent to. The tap counting above needs none: it stores a number, not a visitor.

What we do with it

We read it and get back to you, by whichever route you gave us. That is the whole purpose. We use the three optional answers to work out roughly what size system your building needs before we call, so the first conversation is a useful one.

We will not add you to a newsletter or send you marketing you did not ask for.

Who else can see it

Only the companies that run the site and deliver the message, and only because they have to:

• Resend delivers the enquiry to us as an email. Their servers are in the United States, so your details cross a border to reach our inbox.
• Vercel hosts this site and runs the code that receives the form.
• Supabase holds a copy of the enquiry in a database, so that a lost or mis-delivered email does not mean a lost enquiry. The tap counts live there too.
• Clearline Partners built and maintains this site for us, and can see enquiries in the course of keeping the form working.

Separately: the typeface on this site is served by Fontshare, which means your browser requests a stylesheet from api.fontshare.com and they can see your IP address, as any site serving a webfont would. Its licence does not permit us to host the font ourselves, so that request cannot be avoided.

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else unless the law requires it.

WhatsApp and phone

Several buttons here open a WhatsApp chat or dial a number. Once you are in WhatsApp you are in Meta's hands, under their privacy terms, not ours - the same as any other WhatsApp conversation.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in the inbox and the database while there is any chance the conversation continues, and for our own records afterwards. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@carribsol.com and we will do it. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no form to fill in.

You never have to use the form at all - the phone numbers below reach us directly.

Children

This site is for people buying solar for a business or a home. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.

If this changes

This page is wired to the site's own settings, so if analytics gets switched on or off, what you read here changes with it rather than going stale.
